Apparently we have a legacy blog?

This email address has a legacy Blogger account associated with it that hasn’t logged in since 2007. In 60 days it will lose access to the account and associated content; the data will be permanently deleted unless migrated to the Google Account system at Legacy migration page.

Is this a thing? Hmm we still have a blog here at blogger and I hope it's not that one, but as 2007 was before I was born, that's me Angel Teagan of course, it all seems a bit suspicious.

Anyway, just doing a short post to let anyone who doesn't already know that I travelled that final journey over the bridge at the end of April 2023, just two days before my 15th birthday. 

I am still watching over my humans and their new canine companion who joined them in August. Her name is Dolly and she is growing up to be just as beautiful as I was! She will be carrying on blogging on Wordpress when she is a little bit older, probably when she has her first trial trip away from home before a proper holiday to one of my favourite places, Deerpark in Cornwall, or perhaps one in Wales.

So it's goodbye from me and hello from Dolly!

Ellie Mae Monday

Ellie Mae is my new fursis. She is just over 7 weeks old and came to live with us on Saturday so today is her first Monday at home with us.

This is us out during her post breakfast and elevenses play time. Hopefully she will be tired out soon and have a nap.

Well nommy Bacon & Mushroom Eggy Muffins

Thought we might like to share this nommy recipe with you - I didn't get to eat a whole one, because mum put chives in it (feeble excuse if you ask me) but I did get some cheese and bacon while she was making them. Very tasty indeed and even though I could have managed a whole muffin I was quite happy with just the tasters. Meanwhile, dad got 2 muffins as well as beans on toast with some tomatoes. Paws in the Park 2012

Today was the day!! I've been looking forward to it for ages and ages. We haven't really been doing a lot of serious training lately because of moving house, but we always really enjoy doing the Paws in the Park walk at Lulworth Castle and weren't going to miss it this year - it was our 4th year doing it and last year I raised the most sponsorship money so I was a VIP (very important pup).

Usually we get there really early and meet up with my pal Barney but we were a bit later this year and when we got there he'd already started the walk - he and Bonnie the BT were checking out the route. I was a bit sad to have missed him but knew that we'd be seeing him at the end of the walk.

There were lots of other dogs there already, so we got ourselves signed in, posed for the group photo and then off we went. The weather was almost perfect for walking - as you know, we're suffering a drought at the moment so it's been raining most days and we were a bit worried that it might be yet another rainy day.

I was eager to get going on the trail. 

Hurry up mum and dad, do keep up with me.

This is me with Ghwyny a very pretty young border collie. We had a great time chasing each other and running back and forth.

All the running around made me very hot so when I came across this big puddle I just couldn't resist it and had to lie down and cool my tummy.

I remembered this spot from last year so I jumped on in and had a swim. Ghwyny didn't want to get her fur wet so she just watched.

Hmmm which way do you think we go?

More water... so time for another paddle.

By the time we were almost back at the Castle we'd made up time and could see the lead group up ahead but we didn't manage to catch them up until we got back to the Weldmar tent. Barney was looking extremely handsome, as usual.

We'd all been given a paw print dog tag as well as a lovely goody bag full of tasty things so we couldn't wait to try some! Bonnie was very good at standing up to ask for treats.

On our way home we went to The Castle Inn with Barney and his mum and dad for a drink and something to eat. We went there last year too.

By the time we got home all the mud had dried on me so I had to go in my paddling pool and have it washed off. That kind of water isn't half as fun as the muddy puddle kind of water.

So, that was my 4th time doing Paws in the Park at Lulworth Castle - this year I managed to raise £648 and that doesn't include the gift aid - so I'd like to say a very big T H A N K   Y O U  to everyone who was kind enough to sponsor me. It's Christmas!!

I reckon it's been wearing slippers because it certainly managed to sneak up on us all this year...

Fiddick

We live next door to Aunty Helen and Uncle Nealy and my human cousins James and Tom. When they're not around I like to go next door and play with Fiddick. He recently lost his brother Checkers so he's a little subdued and at the moment he is quite cuddly and likes a lot of attention.

He's a bit of a tease and wants me to come and give him a wash... and fill my mouth with his fur? What a cheek!!

I'm happy to oblige though and usually give him a quick wash..

To be honest, after I've had a quick sniff and said hello, I'm more interested in having a good look around the garden to sniff out the mice and other smells that are in the garden.

Mum picked some of the catmint for him.. can you see the goofy spacey look in his eyes? He's been eating it, the silly cat, he's supposed to roll in it not just sit and eat it.

I tried a bit but it didn't do anything for me, so he can keep it... I'll stick to my tripe. BOL I bet you knew I was going to say that didn't you!!

It's Tripe Delivery Day!!!

Well, the doorbell rang this morning and I just knew that it was the Parcelforce man for me!! I could smell him walking up the pathway.

We rushed to the door and that was the box!! Huge isn't it!! Here it is opened up and I'm just checking the contents against the delivery note.

Mmmm all present and correct, 5kg tripe, 3 bags of chicken necks and a bag of Rinti - I haven't had that before but mum thought I could try it as a mixer with my meat as it sounded very good. I tried a few taster pieces and thought they were great.. they're sort of a bit green, like small nuggets of solid horse poo! There was also a free first aid kit from Zooplus. I always get taster bits to try when mum unpacks the box.

It's truly delicious. If you haven't tried tripe, you really don't know what you're missing.

Dad's Sailing Trip - July 2011 Friesian Islands

On Monday 18th July mum and I took dad to the train station and waved him off... we didn't pick him up again until late on Monday the 25th July. I didn't really understand where he was going, even though mum explained it all to me. I just know that he was gone from home a long time and his car was still in the driveway so I knew he wasn't going to be coming back until we fetched him.  He took lots of photos so I would be able to see where he went and what he was doing when he was away from me.  Here are just a few taster pics for you

One day he hired a bicycle and went cycling for the day. He had lots of fun.
